Trail Conditions

Oct.      23,      2017   0800

Overcast and cloudy,  warming to  67.

Monday and Wednesday night trail rides, meet at the Welcome Center at 5:30

All the trails are in excellent condition, buffed out and fast, with several trails on the east side being freshly leaf blown. The west trails are fast and flowing with banked turns and long downhill/climbs and the enchanted forest. On the east side of the mountain the trails are tight, technical, with roots and rocks a play ground for the kid at heart.  Many thanks to Chris Miller for heading up the blowing and ski trail cutting project if anyone can help the goal is to push the sides of the Presque Isle trail back.

If you find a tree down or any other issue let me know.  When the trails are wet please use the upper and west trails as they shed the water the best. The lower trails always take longer to dry and firm up so use good judgement and walk around any wet spots.

Thanks for understanding.

Remember the pet loop parking is at the end of the road or the two parking areas along the east side of the road, The pet area is from the entrance road to the east, or Tom's trails and the field, no pets are allowed by the lodge or on the west side.

Donations can be made at the Welcome Center or become members on line at our website or by mail,.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who make this venue such a success. Especially this week with all the wind and storms there has been a great deal of work done on the trails as always. Please remember to log your hours at the Welcome Center.

Email Tom Chasse at with any questions or trail info.
